Violeta Capella Tubella is a catalan filmmaker, set designer and photographer born in Barcelona and based and working in Melbourne (Naarm).

She did her Bachelors in Philosophy at the University of Barcelona and her Masters in Film at Catalyst Creative Institute for Arts and Technology (Berlin) in 2023. The context of her investigation revolved around the role of the artist in a gradually more A.I. intervened environment and her research culminated in her short film “Latent Space”.

She debuted as a Production Designer in “Ces’t toi” a Catalan feature film shot in 2019. Since then she has worked in the art department of many projects across different formats (Music videos, TVCommercials, short films, theatre, documentary, etc.)
